The Estonian from the team of MAZOWSZE Serce Polski is the winner in the third stage of the 68th International Cycling Tour of Bulgaria. He finished the 180-kilometer route (Troyan – Sliven) for 4:34:58 h. and was awarded by the mayor of Sliven town – Mr. Stefan Radev.
The yellow jersey remained with the winner of the yesterday’s stage – Immanuel Stark from the German team P&S Metalltechnik - who was awarded by Kosta Cholakov – MB Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of DZI.
Kosta Cholakov greeted the contestants and guests at the event and wished them all that Sliven became one of the future milestone towns in the International Cycling Tour of Bulgaria.
The start of the fourth stage (Sliven – Burgas), which length is 108 km, will be given at 02:30 AM in front of the building of Sliven Municipality. The finish point in Burgas town is anticipated to be reached around 05:15 PM in front of the municipality building.
This is the shortest stage in the tour and at first glance it seems the easiest. The only factor which could change that is the strong wind, emblematic for Sliven town. Upon side wind there are prerequisites for formation of pacelines and we could witness long pursuit.
