Main Coverage Options

Employer’s Liability Clause

Subject of insurance is an Employer’s liability for damage, sustained by his/her/its worker and/or employee on a labor contract as a result of an accident at work, including when such an accident has been caused:

  • by force majeure
  • upon or on the occasion of carrying out the assigned or any work whatsoever, also such performed without an order but in the Employer’s interest
  • during a break, spent at the enterprise and regardless of whether the Employer or another worker of his/her/its is at fault for the accident’s occurrence

An insured event is considered to be an accident at work, which has occurred on the Republic of Bulgaria’s territory, leading to:

  • temporary loss of capacity for work
  • permanently reduced capacity for work by 50% or more
  • death of one or more workers/employees
Manufacturing and Non-manufacturing Activity Clause

Subject of insurance is the liability for damage, caused to third persons:

  • вin relation to owning, stewarding and using premises, where the insured activity is being carried out, as well as
  • upon or on the occasion of exercising the following activity, as stated in the insurance contract:
    - manufacturing
    - trading in goods and/or
    - rendering of services

An insured event is considered to be:

  • destruction or damage to property (movable or immovable)
  • bodily injury (including death) of a natural person, occurred within the term of the insurance.
Real Estate’s Owner/Lessor Liability Clause Subject of insurance is the liability of an Owner/Lessor in relation to stewarding or leasing the real estate, indicated in the policy, for damage caused to such real estate by the Lessees and/or third persons as a result of an insured event, occurred within the insurance policy period.

An insured event is considered to be:

  • destruction or damage of movable or immovable property of third persons
  • bodily injury (including death) of a person that has occurred on the territory of the indicated real estate.
„Assembly, Disassembly, Repair and Maintenance of Plant and Equipment Clause“ Subject of insurance is the liability for damage, caused to third persons upon or on the occasion of the exercised activity, written down in the insurance policy.

An insured event is considered to be:

  • destruction or damage of movable or immovable property of third persons
  • bodily injury (including death) of a person that has occurred within the insurance policy period
Building Maintenance and Cleaning Clause Subject of insurance is the liability for damage, caused to third persons upon or on the occasion of carrying out an activity, associated with building maintenance, cleaning and/or running repairs and their adjacent areas (or common areas), including advertising elements.

An insured event is considered to be:

  • destruction or damage of movable or immovable property of third persons
  • bodily injury (including death) of a person that occurred within the insurance policy period
Motor Vehicle Servicing Clause Subject of insurance is the liability for damage, caused to third persons upon or on the occasion of servicing of motor vehicles of the A, AM and B categories, at the addresses, indicated in the insurance policy. An insured event is deemed the destruction or damage to a motor vehicle (MV) while being located on the territory of the motor vehicle service centre.
Property Safeguarding Clause Subject of insurance is the liability for damage upon or on the occasion of carrying out the activity, written down in the insurance policy, involving:
-physical guarding of a property, or
- physical guarding of a property, coupled with ancillary technical security systems for safeguarding on the territory of the guarded site(s), indicated in the policy.
An insured event is considered a burglary of movable property at the guarded site that has occurred during the insurance contract term due to error, omission or negligence of the Insuree.
Civil Liability of Persons, Using Firearms Clause Subject of insurance is the civil liability for damage, caused to third persons upon legal use of firearms.

Subject of insurance is the liability of:

  • a natural person, holding a permit to acquire, store, carry and use a firearm;
  • a natural person - member of a hunting party who has obtained a Hunting Licence in line with the provisions of the legislation in force

Product Liability Clause
Subject of insurance is the liability for material and non-material damage, caused to third persons as a result of the use of an item/product, written down in the insurance policy and manufactured, delivered, assembled, installed, processed or otherwise put into operation by you.

An insured event is considered to be:

  • destruction or damage of movable or immovable property
  • bodily injury (including death) to a person that has occurred during the insurance contract period and within the territorial validity of the insurance policy and caused by the use of the product, written down in the policy.
Keepers Clause Hotel and Restaurant"

Subject of insurance is the liability for damage, caused to third persons - guests or visitors of a tourist site upon or on the occasion of conducting:

  • hotel operations on the territory of an owned or rented tourist site, indicated in the insurance policy, or
  • restaurant operations on the territory of an owned or rented tourist site, indicated in the insurance policy.

An insured event is considered to be:

  • destruction or damage of movable property by third persons
  • тbodily injury (including death) of a person as a result of an accident or a foodborne illness after consuming food and beverages.

Additional coverage options to the Hotel Keepers Clause

Theft from a safe-box:

  • Loss of property, belonging to guests at the tourist site as a result of burglary or robbery, when such property has been handed over for safe-keeping in a deposit-box or a safe-box at the tourist site .
Additional coverage options to the Hotel and Restaurant Keepers Clause

Motor vehicle damage:

  • Damage to motor vehicles, owned by guests or visitors of the tourist site, caused by the Insuree’s employees, while parking or maneuvering such vehicles on the territory of a parking lot, servicing the tourist site.
Addition coverage options to Product Liability Clause

Product recall costs

  • Covered expenses are such, needed to recall the insured product from the commercial network when it has been established that it is either defective or unfit for use.

How is the price of insurance being determined? Liability limits are specified by you and are negotiated with the Insurer.
The insurance premium is determined depending on the negotiated liability limits, the insurance policy period, the territorial validity of the insurance policy and additional parameters, in accordance with the chosen clause, as for example, annual turnover, payroll fund, etc.
