At the Insurer of the Year, Pension Assurance Company of the Year and Insurance Broker of the Year prestigious awards ceremony, held for a 13-th consecutive time and organized by the Association of Bulgarian Insurers, DZI has won the first prize in the Insurer of the Year - General Insurance category.

The 2020 annual awards in the insurance sector were presented at an official ceremony in the assembly hall of the University of Finance, Business and Entrepreneurship (VUZF). In the Insurer of the Year - General Insurance category the prize was won by DZI General Insurance.

 „Retaining the leadership position in the insurance sector for so many consecutive years is a rewarding, but also an extremely difficult endeavour. I am happy that the employees and partners of DZI are aware of the responsibility such an award brings and they work in a manner, enabling us to look proudly and even to be surprised with our ever improving performance year on year. This prize is for them, but also for our clients. Without their trust in our company we would not have been so motivated to permanently develop, so as to become better and more innovative in order to make their lives easier “, commented Kosta Cholakov, Chief Executive Officer of DZI upon receiving the prize.

The plastic art pieces and diplomas were distributed into 9 categories, as the winners were selected by an expert jury, based on objective criteria, publicly announced in advance.

As a tradition the organizers of the event were the University of Finance, Business and Entrepreneurship (VUZF), the Association of Bulgarian Insurers (ABI) and the Bulgarian Association of Insurance Brokers (BAIB), the Bulgarian Association of Supplementary Pension Insurance Companies (BASPIC), the Prof. Dr. Veleslav Gavriyski and the Bulgarian Association of Insurance Brokers.
