The museum contains 399 photos of exhibits, displayed at the physical museum of the company with the largest insurance experience in Bulgaria, located at the Claims Handling Centre of DZI, 1 Konstantin Preslavski Str., Sofia.

For convenience of all people, interested in this country’s insurance history, and in line with DZI strategy to offer innovative and fully digital solutions through its thoroughly upgraded corporate website, the museum can be ‘visited’ in a fully virtual way through this web page – at any time 24/7, from anywhere and via any mobile device.

Virtual museum visitors may browse in a fully digital way the papers, policies, objects and brochures, presenting Bulgarian insurance history all across 3 epochs – the Kingdom of Bulgaria, People’s Republic of Bulgaria and the contemporary period of the Republic of Bulgaria after 1989. There they will find documents reflecting DZI history – from its dawn in 1946 to modern days – and documents unveiling insurance business development in this country since the beginning of 20th century.

The physical museum of DZI was opened to mark the company’s 70th anniversary in 2016.
